1. Overview

ZHAPKANghya+ is a Marathi local classifieds and community app that helps users post and discover local services, agricultural equipment listings, rentals, transport, jobs, parcel services and local business opportunities.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you.

2. Data We Collect

We collect information required to operate the app and its available features.

Account Information

• Name and email address received through Google Sign-In.
• Your 10-digit Indian mobile number.
• Village or place information you enter in your profile.

Listings You Post

• Title, description and category.
• Price and location text.
• Optional GPS coordinates, where applicable.
• Ride date and time for relevant transport or parcel listings.
• Images you upload, where the feature is available.

Booking and Request Activity

• Requester and listing-owner user IDs.
• Messages and details you submit, such as quantity.
• Request status and related timestamps.

Payments and UPI

For paid plans or features, we may collect the selected plan, amount and UTR or transaction reference you submit for verification. UPI transfers take place through your UPI app. We do not receive your bank account number or card details through the UPI transfer itself.

Device Location

If you use the location feature and grant the required permission, the app may access your device's GPS latitude and longitude to show relevant nearby listings within the supported search radius, up to 60 km where configured. The app does not track your location in the background.

Notifications

We may store in-app notification history associated with your user ID, such as listing approvals, rejections and activity updates.

Diagnostic and Security Logs

Limited technical logs, which may include IP address, timestamps and API endpoints, may be processed for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

Information We Do Not Collect

The app does not request access to contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone audio or health data as part of its described core functionality. It does not track precise location in the background.

3. How We Use Information

• Display listings and help users connect about local services and opportunities.
• Match relevant ride and parcel requests where those features are available.
• Verify submitted payment references for paid plans and features.
• Expire listings and remove associated content according to app rules.
• Provide in-app notifications about accounts, listings and requests.
• Detect spam, prevent abuse and maintain service security.

4. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed or shared in limited circumstances to provide the service:

• Google Sign-In: Used for authentication and may provide your name, email address and profile picture, subject to your Google account settings.
• Cloud image storage: Images you upload may be stored using the app's configured cloud storage service.
• Legal requirements: Information may be disclosed when required by valid legal process or applicable Indian law.

5. Contact Information Visibility

Your phone number is hidden by default where the app's contact-visibility rules apply. It may become visible to another user when:

• You accept a booking or contact request, where applicable.
• Your listing uses a paid Premium plan that includes phone-number visibility.
• You choose to make your contact information visible using an option provided in the app, if available.

Information included in a public listing may be visible to other users. Please avoid posting sensitive personal information.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

• Regular listings generally expire after 7 days, according to app rules.
• Transport and parcel listings may expire at their scheduled time.
• Expired listings and associated images are deleted according to the app's cleanup process.
• You can delete your own listings through the app's listing-management section, where available.
• You can request account deletion through Profile → Legal → Delete Account in the app.

Account deletion requests are handled according to the app's deletion process. Deletion is completed within 30 days, subject to applicable legal requirements and information that must be retained for legitimate security, accounting or legal purposes.

Anonymised aggregate statistics may be retained for analytics. Payment and UTR audit records may be retained where required for accounting or legal purposes.

7. Your Privacy Rights

• Access: View your account information, listings and requests through relevant app sections.
• Correction: Edit your profile and listing information where editing is available.
• Deletion: Delete your listings and request deletion of your account and associated personal information.
• Withdrawal: You may stop using the app and request account deletion, subject to information that must be retained under applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. Users under 18 should use the app with appropriate parental or guardian supervision.

9. Security

Authentication relies on Google Sign-In; passwords are not stored by the app as part of this authentication method. Where applicable, sessions use bearer tokens with a configured expiry period. API traffic is transmitted over HTTPS, and access to stored content is controlled through the app's configured access controls.

We take reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. Material changes may be communicated through in-app notifications. The latest policy will be published at this URL.
